Urchfont Parish Council – Wiltshire, England

Welcome to the picturesque parish of Urchfont, comprising the three villages/hamlets of Urchfont, Wedhampton and Lydeway, situated approximately four miles south of the market down of Devizes and on the edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.

The parish is home to much history and charm, including the St Michael and All Angels Church that dates from the 13th century, many listed thatched cottages, the village duck pond and the extremely popular annual Scarecrow Festival. Urchfont was also proudly awarded the ‘Best Kept Village in Wiltshire’ title for 2024.
